The excitement and good news has continued for Learning Links Preschool, as we were recently announced as a finalist in the 2019 HESTA Early Childhood Educator and Care Awards for the second year running in the ‘Building Inclusion’ category. These yearly awards are run in partnership with Early Childhood Australia and recognise the front-line educators and carers at the very heart of Australia’s early childhood education system.
The 2019 HESTA Early Childhood Educator & Care Award winner is due to be announced on Thursday 26 September 2019. Sarah Herbert (Preschool Manager) and Melissa Murphy (Playgroup Manager) will attend the National Early Childhood Conference in Tasmania, where the award winner will be announced at the Conference Dinner.
Further to this award, Learning Links Preschool has also been nominated as a finalist in the Excellence in Early Childhood Education Awards. This program is the largest awards program conducted annually in NSW and shines a light on best practices and raises the profile of the early education and care sector. We are a finalist in the ‘Inclusivity Practices Program Excellence’ category. The winner will be announced at the awards event in October.
